About Liberty Unchained
Liberty is an ideal. It is something that I do my best to move towards.
In my youth, I had no real grasp of the ideal of liberty. I had of course heard the word, but I believed myself to live in liberty.
As I aged, I came to start questioning that belief, wondering how it could be that I was a free man when at every turn there seemed to be someone claiming that I must do one thing or another.
Eventually, I stumbled upon writers such as Thomas Paine, Lysander Spooner, Thomas Jefferson, and a host of others who painted pictures in my mind that clearly showed that we certainly are not free.
As I digested such information, I came to see the world through a rather dark lens…until one day I realized that we actually are as free as we want to be.
Educate your self.
Stand up for you self.
Know truly the power within you.
Others will see that you do the impossible.
They will begin educating themselves.
